Exterior car detailing involves thoroughly cleaning and restoring the exterior surfaces of a vehicle. This process involves rinsing the vehicle to eliminate loose dirt/debris collected through the years, hand-washing the vehicle using a sponge, cleaning the wheels and tires using the appropriate products, cleaning and polishing glass surfaces, and applying automotive wax or paint sealant, and applying exterior dressing or tire shine. 

Interior car detailing involves removing personal belongings  and trash to create a cleaner surface to vacuum, cleaning the upholstery and carpets using appropriate products, cleaning and conditioning leather surfaces to remove tough stains, cleaning and treating plastic, vinyl, and dashboard surfaces, cleaning and polishing interior glass surfaces, freshening up the interior by eliminating lingering odors, and cleaning the door panels and trim, and the dashboard and center console. The removed items of importance will be reorganized in its proper place.
